Outside of jiu-jitsu, Coach Joe brings 18 years of law enforcement experience and has spent 15 years serving as a defensive tactic’s instructor. With more than 20 years of combined combative training and experience, he has spent much of his career studying, applying, and teaching grappling and control techniques in environments where effectiveness matters beyond competition.

At Arrows Jiu Jitsu, Coach Joe brings that experience together to develop students who are technical, capable, and prepared. His coaching emphasizes practical application, strong fundamentals, physical conditioning, and the ability to perform under pressure whether a student’s goals are competition, self-defense, or simply becoming a better grappler.
