THERE'S A PLACE FOR YOU ON THE MAT.
Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or preparing for competition, Arrows offers opportunities to develop your jiu jitsu in a challenging, supportive environment.
FAMILY GI
Train jiu jitsu in its most traditional form: in the gi! Gi jiu jitsu focuses on using the uniform (gi) to manipulate your opponent’s posture and balance with grips- including using the gi itself as a means to off balance and submit!
Family training allows parents, guardians, children, etc to train together. Warmups, technique, and workouts are done together, while situational rounds and sparring are split up by age for safety and highest quality technical mat time.
Tuesday 5:00–6:00 PM
Thursday 6:00–7:00 PM
FAMILY NO GI
With many similarities to wrestling, no gi jiu jitsu is done in a rashguard and shorts. Without the gi for grips, athleticism, quick decision making, and timing is critical. With a strong focus on hand fighting, pressure, and complete control, no gi is a great workout as well as practical skill!

PRO TRAINING
Led by Guerilla Black Belt Coach Joe Cota, Pro Training is the time in which our competitors fine tune their craft. This class is open to any Arrows Jiu Jitsu students ages 10 and up (or grey belt and up) and focuses less on a structured curriculum and more on what we are seeing in current competition. These classes can be both gi and no gi, depending on what competition we are currently preparing for as a team.
Note: due to the nature of this class, some PG language may be used or heard (not in a mean way- it’s just Coach Joe’s love language!).
Monday 12:00–1:30 PM
